Pre-Employment Carpentry

Carpenters build and repair a vast array of structures using a large number of hand and power tools. They also work with different materials including wood, concrete, steel and glass. Carpenters may work for construction companies, general contractors, and maintenance companies or may be self-employed. The Pre-employment Carpentry program covers all course materials received by a first year apprentice, plus additional hands-on skills, safety training, and employability skills.

This program will be offered in hy-flex format that will provide students with the choice to learn online or on-site with on campus shop/lab time.
