This course will cover techniques used for flameworking coloured borosilicate glass. You’ll learn about different types of torches, flame characteristics, and how their chemistry affects the colours that we use. A variety of different colour applications utilizing solid and hollow glass will be demonstrated including, vortex's, wig wags, and implosions. You’ll learn about different styles of puntys, and how to assess when and why they should be used. We’ll ensure that each student leaves with a well-rounded knowledge of shaping borosilicate glass in the flame.
