« back to classes page
Experience the ancient art of bronze casting using Red Deer College’s state of the art foundry facilities. In this fun and fully hands-on course, you will take your prepared waxes through all stages of the casting process. Sprue systems, ceramic shell moulds, de-waxing, pouring, chasing, finishing and patination will all be covered over this two-week course. Although no previous casting experience is required, you must come prepared with finished wax sculptures. An additional charge of $18.00 per finished pound of bronze will be applied.
