« back to classes page

During this intensive introductory bead making class, you will learn how to efficiently melt glass into wearable beads. We will learn how to form simple and traditional shapes as well as introduce tools to approach more advanced forms. Throughout the day a variety of colour applications will be covered which include dots, spiral trails, and raking of feathering pattern. The course will be taught using traditional Italian glass in a variety of vibrant colours. All the beads will be ready to stand alone as a piece of jewelry of strung together in multiples to create a necklace. This is an excellent introductory level glass course.
