Wheel Throwing: Altered Techniques

This course is designed for intermediate students eager to transform wheel-thrown forms into creative designs and unique shapes. Instructor-led demonstrations will illustrate techniques from maintaining balance and functionality through various shaping, cutting, darting, and altering methods. Handles and spouts will be covered too! Students will participate in a series of exercises and can expect to create a variety of forms, such as pouring vessels and altered forms.
