This course will prepare you for the Alberta Boilers Safety Association (ABSA) Fourth Class Part A Provincial Power Engineer Examination. Topics include basic principles of mathematics, mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, boiler construction, combustion, controls, instrumentation, boiler systems, and more.
 
Textbook: You must order Fourth Class Power Engineering Edition 3.5 textbooks or e-books through Pan Global online at powerengineering.org. New books provide access to online study resources and exams that are required for this course. You are not able to gain online access with used books. Books are required for the first night of classes. The required textbooks for Part A:
