Introduction to Music Theory

Designed for students with little to no musical experience, this course will start you on the exciting path of learning to read and understand music notation.  Pitch recognition, basic concepts of rhythm, common scales, and chord construction are a few of the topics that will be addressed over the course classes.  Students can expect an engaging, hands-on learning environment in which new concepts will be applied as soon as they are introduced.
