Substance Use and Trauma

The links between substance abuse and trauma are well documented. Through an exploration of substance abuse, learners will gain an understanding of its impact on individuals, families, and communities. Learners will explore warning signs, symptoms, prevention, and treatment and recovery of substance abuse and addiction.
