The aim of the workshop is to expose participants both beginning and advance to a wide range of materials and processes for finding form three-dimensionally. You will be introduced to methods of drawing that aid in the investigation of form. These form studies will then be used to translate from 2d to 3d. You will explore processes for quickly massing or sketching form in a non-permanent material (paper and tape, hot glue and wood, assembled found objects). From the early sketch stage, you will go explore the means for completing a finished 3 -dimensional form in an appropriate material.
